I hadn't been for a while as I have been diagnosed Coeliac since my last visit. However, we popped in to speak to staff regarding my needs and felt happy to book. So glad we did as they went above & beyond to assist me and Chef even prepared me a gluten free version of the famous 'Whoopsie Splunker' .... Very happy !!

Each time we return to Padstow Rojanos is where we have dinner on night 1. After a long drive it's perfect, pizza or fish it's something for everyone and best of all our dog can come. All the Ainsworth restaurants are amazing and this is no exception. On this trip we took my mum whose Celiac and hates eating out due to choices. She was given her own full al le carte menu, she says the pizza was the best GF she's ever had. It was welcoming, she wasn't singled out and she had so much choice. Often people with severe intolerances are limited or awkwardly having items pointed out but as always the staff were flawless and she felt comfortable. Thank you, we love it.

Weirdly bad. Our waiter was clueless, at one point I had to tell him to move to the other end of the table so he could hear what my family were saying. We'd told them about some allergies on booking but these had to be repeated multiple times, the waiter then needed a few trips to the kitchen to confirm what we could and couldn't have. When the food finally arrived the dishes with adjustments for dietary requirements were loudly announced to the whole restaurant, in a good restaurant the waiter remembers who orders what, and in an ok restaurant they at least remember any those with specific requirements. The toast on one of the dishes was totally black, very burnt and inedible which must have been obvious to both the chef and waiter. We sent that back but didn't bother raising the other dishes, chips were far too salty, the gluten free burgers in particular weren't good. Some of the dishes were nice but overall I'd recommend somewhere else in Padstow, there are plenty of nicer restaurants to pick from.
