Café Iruña

The truth is that I was pleasantly surprised. I went to the establishment on a holiday, with a lot of people and I didn't expect anything that happened. Very spacious and air-conditioned premises, prepared to serve many meals, the terrace is closed and also with stoves that allow its use on bad weather days. On this terrace, meals are served even without reservation. The price of the menu surprised me, given the location, right in the center of Pamplona in the Plaza del Castillo, the establishment and the date, festive. The food, good portions, extensive menu, well presented and delicious. Friendly and fast staff. It is quite a point that both dishes and breads, etc. are prepared for celiacs. 100% recommended, I will definitely return.

This restaurant is amazing. It is so beautiful and it probably looks just like it did when Ernest Hemingway ate here. I was so excited to eat here, since the restaurant is mentioned frequently in the book, The Sun Also Rises. The food is excellent. The menu is clearly marked, w each entry labeled appropriate or inappropriate for celiacs. My meal was delicious. The daily meal is reasonably priced and includes an appetizer, entree, dessert, wine, and water. We loved this place so much we ate here twice during our short stay in Pamplona.
