We visited the café and pâtisserie.
I had a gluten-free chocolate mousse cake and a large hot chocolate. It was my death by chocolate as both were VERY chocolate-y. The mousse cake had a layer of berry jelly, which was tart and cut through the heftiness of the chocolate mousse. The hot chocolate was one of the best that I have had in a long-time. Home-made with dark chocolate. Great chocolate aroma and not very sweet.
At the pâtisserie, we picked up some pieces of cake and an organic tea for friends. They made a great present and were much appreciated.
I loved the atmosphere of both places! Only the food I had was a bit weighty (maybe my fault for picking those options together). And in my opinion the service at the café could have been friendlier. Maybe they were having a bad day.
