Really good food and staff. The refried beans they give out before meals are my favorite. Good gluten free options.

When we got here I was excited cause the menu looked very promising. I try to write at least one thing good about each place I review. The only thing good I can say is our server was really nice. The food was very bland. We got virgin strawberry daiquiri and they were not sweet and mostly ice. We asked them to be redone with similar issues with the second one. Truthfully I haven't been able to find a place in Boise that knows how to make good virgin drinks. The bowl I ordered looked pretty but has almost no flavor. It was supposed to come with avacodo. It did one tiny slice. We ordered queso cheese dip..I was expecting a nice pure creamy white cheese. Instead we got some kind of watery cheese flavored thickened with flour cheese. I am gluten free so I immediately tasted the flour in it and asked if it had flour. I was told yes. I had said I was allergic to flour. But the queso was sent out anyway with flour as thinkiner. I am very disappointed with this place. Find a better more athletic Mexican place if you want good Mexican food. If you want a better bowl go to Taco Bell drive through there chicken power bowl is 10 times better with guacamole and a nice sauce that gives it some flavor and actual black beans.
