California Grill

Always one of my favorite places to go. Food is delicious and a good variety of different types of options. A pleasant laid back environment. Gluten free options are available which is great for our family and dietary restrictions.

This locally owned restaurant has the West coast beach and surfer decor,ambiance,and most of all great tasting food, in true California/Pacific fashion. I've traveled and have visited restaurants out in the West coastal Pacific region,have eaten true coastal/surfer food,and this restaurant is all original in it's options and presentation. It offers a great menu full of bbq/ smoked food done right there on its premises,along with non bbq/smoked food which is delicious and consistent every visit! They also offer gluten free options as well. What my wife and I, who are mainly diner and local "mom and pop" restaurant dwellers, also love about this eatery,is it's a great break from all of the corporate chain restaurants surrounding Vestal and is great for families and groups and has very laidback, comfortable feel, but it's def classy enough for a semi formal get together. Their bar in the back of the restaurant is classy, cheery,private,offers dining tables and booths on the outer perimeter, but does not disturb the people eating in the other part of the restaurant who don't want to be in the bar area, as it's divided by a wall. It also offers happy hour and really good food and drink specials everyday. In a nut shell, California Grill is very clean, has personable and friendly staff,is great for full dinner,or just a drink or dessert date and is a very family friendly restaurant at the same time. The prices are very reasonable for the quality food and drink that they serve.
