Canterbury Tails Cat Cafe

Nothing else but a 5 star review. Firstly, atmosphere is 10/10, cats are absolutely adorable. Secondly, there is quite a variety of food, we ordered fudgy choco-coconut tart, loaded flapjack and some waffles and we were absolutely amazed by how good they are, bare in mind that they really care about gluten-free and quality of food. Last but not least, service, absolutely immaculate, I cannot recommend this place more, it's a must if you go to Canterbury. Also please read the house rules because they really really care about the cute cats, and if you go there, you should too!

I spent my birthday here and it really did not disappoint, the cats and staff are both wonderful and the atmosphere was really friendly, with a lot of guests also chatting to us. The food was great and not only is all vegan but had gluten free options (the carrot cake is 10/10) and the staff gave me a birthday card which was so unexpected and lovely! I can’t recommend this place enough! Edit : have looked at some of the other reviews and ‘the smell’ was not something that I noticed, I had no concerns surrounding hygiene and you can see into one of the kitchens upstairs should this be a concern which I’m sure would quell any worries. I also had no concerns about the cats, they were happy and playful and friendly both with the people in the cafe and with each other and had plenty of space to roam freely and be alone if they chose to be!
