We absolutely love Cantina Vallarta, and with 2 celiac kids (aged 5 and 7) they have been a life saver! The Nachos are a family favourite, and the kids also love the quesadillas - both of which can be made gf (nachos are already gf and the corn tortillas can be substituted in the quesadillas). We always advise the server of our allergy, and we have never had a reaction. The enchiladas with the mole sauce and chimichangas are also absolutely worth mentioning, but just not gf 😊 #shuswapglutenfree

I had a great time at this restaurant - amazing decoration inside that feels authentic. Service was fast, food came pretty quick. Had lots of gluten free options. There was no separate fryer - be aware if you are not into cross contamination. I had the street tacos (chicken & pulled pork) and they were both fantastic (nothing fried). I really liked that the tacos were deconstructed and you had the option to add however much fillings/salsa/meat that you wanted. Will definitely check this spot out again if I am coming through Salmon Arm again.
