Cantine Panella

Ben and Naomi have put together easily one of the best cafes I've ever been to. I only visited twice while in Montreal, but I left feeling like I was a regular. The bread is amazing, the pastries are divine, and the classic Italian-style espresso is some of the best I've had outside of Europe. Whether or not you have Celiac, gluten sensitivity, any other allergies or none at all, I cannot recommend this little fallen piece of Elysium enough.

The best gluten-free bakery in Montreal. Gluten-free and rice flour-free! A selection of vegan and sugar-free products. Everything is delicious. And on top of that, the service is impeccable!

The food, atmosphere and service and Cantine Panella is fantastic. I am both vegan and gluten intolerant, and was so excited to find a place so kind and accommodating - everything was delicious! They took such pride in their food, and honestly, that was the best sandwich I’ve ever had, as was everything else we ordered. I wish we lived in Montreal so we could dine here regularly. Next time we visit, it will be our first stop. Also, if you are celiac, they have a special accreditation for celiacs which is really hard to get!
