Capitol Square Bar & Grill

Absolutely LOVE this place! Have driven by for years and finally stopped in for a Friday night date night during happy hour. My husband and I love Washington, D.C. happy hour options and theirs were pretty good either way gluten free and vegetarian options. Started our dining experience with a vodka cran for myself and the house red for my partner. Then we ended up splitting the amazing plantains nachos, strawberry feta and blueberry salad and the most delicious mashed potatoes I think I’ve ever had. Our waitress was super helpful and nice while helping me navigate my gluten free options. We got to meet the chef too and he was so friendly. Can’t wait to come back, especially for their brunch deals and specials.

beautiful place, we loved the patio. The crab soup is so tasty (however consider if you have gluten allergy) The service could be better (however, if you are patience and just enjoy youll be just fine) im sure ill be back especially to see if service improves.
