Alysia and her team at Carefree Cakery made a delicious birthday cake for my son's 20th birthday last week. It was vegan and gluten free, half lemon/half strawberry -- and 100% delicious. We had a mixed group, including one vegan, two gluten-free eaters, and four without allergies/preferences and EVERYONE loved the cake. It was moist and didn’t have that grainy or dense texture that gluten-free and vegan cakes often have. (I’ve been vegan for 25 years — I’ve had my share of dense, grainy desserts!) This might be the best testimonial about the cake: I had a very hard time only eating one piece that night and ended up having a slice the next morning for breakfast. :-)

I ordered a gluten free cake for a cast party & 30th birthday celebration. From the ordering process to the delivery, Carefree Cakery was a dream to work with. Staff was super helpful and friendly. After a minor mishap traveling with the finished product, the team went above and beyond to repair the cake AND deliver it. Talk about going the extra mile!
