My partner found this place and we had a fantastic brunch! Nice quiet place with really good food! All day breakfast and reasonably priced. I had the Iza Croissant - it was great! Flakey croissant with creamy brie cheese and yummy eggs. I’ll be ordering this again for sure! The host was friendly and took time to explain unique items on the menu and make conversation with us since it wasn’t very busy. Röti challenge was ordered and finished (he enjoyed it a lot), jerk waffles were also ordered and yummy. My parents ordered doubles and were blown out of the water with the quality and taste. They’re excited to go back. There was a bit of a wait for the food but it makes sense considering the host is also doing everything else behind the scenes. The taste and quality make it worth it as well. Cheese cake desert was gluten free! This place is the definition of a hidden gem, make this your first stop for breakfast in the city before anywhere else.

I wish I could give more stars!! Our host was friendly, engaging and an amazingly talented chef. Outstanding food, with exciting flavors and the perfect balance of fine dining flair in a totally relaxed atmosphere. Highlights were the exceptional melt-in-the-mouth goat curry, jerk chicken waffle, warm banana bread and sweet, tangy and light mango cheesecake (which all just happened to be gluten-free!) A real treat in Halifax's North End, with a menu to delight all ages and tastes.
