My family and I have been coming here for years and won’t be coming back. We decided to come out for dinner around 8 pm (they close at 9) and the server was evidently busy. We patiently waited for menus and to order drinks, giving him the benefit of the doubt. He eventually took our order for food, with us getting 3 entrees total. My mom ordered eggplant rollatini in red sauce with a side of gluten free penne vodka. Her food came out first and the whole dish was in vodka sauce. We mentioned how the dish was supposed to be and instead of apologizing for the mess up, our server sighed and proceeded to tell us how they close in 15 minutes. He didn’t check on us once to make sure everything came out okay. He gave me the wrong pasta, and I didn’t bother saying anything because I didn’t want to be scolded. 10 minutes into us getting our food, we overheard a coworker asking the server “they’re not done?” “no they’re not” and the coworker who was the CHEF came in the dining room staring at us. It was so uncomfortable, we asked for boxes and the check. If there was an issue with staffing or they didn’t want to seat past a certain time, we would’ve been fine going somewhere else. I’ve never had an experience like this at any restaurant and it’s disappointing because we love their food.
