Caroline's in Denton

What a lovely surprise dinner place to find on our way home from the beach! The restaurant is in a beautiful, quaint town and inside a remodeled historic house. We decided to eat outside on the front porch because the weather was so pleasant. We had the shrimp toast as a starter. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, the sauce was the perfect creamy addition, & the bread was delicious! I had the farmer’s pasta for dinner and that was to die for. All of the veggies were fresh & I realized the noodles were gluten free after I ate it. The noodles were wonderful and I would not have guessed! My husband had the burger & he mentioned that it was very fresh, juicy - but not soggy. His fries were fresh, minimally seasoned (he said they may benefit from a bit more salt but it was not a big deal). We both felt great after we ate! We told our awesome waiter Fred that we were celebrating our anniversary & he provided us with a complementary cheesecake - which was outstanding. It was hot honey peach and we were in heaven. So good. We truly loved our experience here! Everything exceeded our expectations!
