Carp Custom Creamery

Absolutely horrible. Will never be coming back. My father has celiac disease. We paid extra for a gluten free cone. When they gave us our ice cream, we questioned it and asked if the cone was gluten free. They insisted multiple times that it was. We have been loyal customers since the Creamery opened, and never has something like this happened. For the record, when someone with celiac disease eats gluten, it causes organ damage. Carp Creamery used to be a safe place for us. Clearly not anymore. Never have we been so blatantly lied to by any staff anywhere. Because of this, my father is horrificly ill. He will not be able to work for at least a week. It's sad, because this used to be a place we enjoyed coming to as a family. Now our Mother’s day was ruined, and we no longer feel safe eating here.

Gluten free chocolate brownie is the best. I'm not gluten free, but it just happens to be my favourite chocolate icecream. We also tried the ice cream cakes once, and it was very good. The prices are family friendly especially when compared to some other local places. Parking can be tricky on a beautiful summer day.
