We came here after a trip to downtown Phoenix. Hubby suggested to have a bite here before heading home.
It was a Wednesday night however the restaurant was quite busy. I was glad to see that because the 2020-2021 pandemic has hurt many restaurants' business.
We were seated quickly at a table. The waiter came and took our drink order. My husband asked for a gluten free recommendation and our waiter promptly went to the kitchen to make sure what he wanted was GF.
I think I had Linguine Pescatore (Shrimp, sea scallops, mussels and spicy marinara sauce) and for the life of me I could not remember what my hubby had other than it had grilled chicken and they made it gluten free.
My plate was hearty and satisfying. I had some leftover to indulge it again at home. Hubby's plate was equally tasty and he commented how the chicken was done just right, juicy and tender.
We were checked on for several times during our meal and we appreciated the attentiveness of our waiter. In fact the manager of the evening also came and checked on us, we felt quite pampered.
We were glad we did not settle with the more commonly known Italian restaurant chain this night. We had a warm and happy experience dining at Carrabba's and we will be back again.
