I recently tried Caruso's for the first time to meet up with some family for dinner. I have Celiac and I really appreciated that they not only have a gluten-free menu but also they take the food prep seriously to minimize cross-contamination and make sure it's actually gluten free.
Our server, Brady, was great. He was knowledgeable about the gluten free options and made me feel comfortable that they take it seriously. He was very attentive and made sure we were always good and had everything we needed. I drink a lot of water and a pet peeve of mine at restaurants is the slow pace of refills, but I felt like Brady made sure my glass was always at least half full.
The food itself was pretty good. I ordered the gluten-free chicken parm plus they were nice enough to bake fries in the oven to avoid cross contamination in the fryer. The food was good, though I do wish that the portion size for the chicken would have been a little bigger for the price, but I can't really complain about eating gluten free chicken parm! I also really like their red wine list, which was a nice bonus.
Overall, I recommend Caruso's, especially if you are on a gluten free diet. I definitely will return.
