We had a wonderful visit at Carve (north Austin location). We made a 5p reservation on a Monday but it wasnt needed. Iralee, the manager, greeted and sat us. We went over our dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy free) with her and she was very helpful in suggesting recommendations and assuring us she would let the chef know. Our server, Treska, was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide our selections. We came to try the 4 for $44 special they had for July and it did not disappoint. The set menu had a selection of their most popular dishes. We both got the trio starter (Hog heaven, filet tenderloin toast and bacon wrapped shrimp), one regular and one gf/df, the beet salad, Cesar salad, the ribs and cauliflower pure entrée, meatloaf cupcakes entrée, the lemon bar dessert, smore dessert (minus the graham crackers) and drinks (wine and 2 mocktails). The trio was great. The hog heaven and filet toast were my favorite. The sauce on the filet was bomb and the red cabbage with the hog heaven was excellent. I wouldn't order the shrimp on its own. The ribs and cauliflower pure were the better entrée than the meatloaf. The BBQ sauce and meatloaf cupcakes were a little to spicy for my taste. The lemon bar was perfect, the smore was just a bit too sugary. Overall a phenomenal experience with delicious food. The portions were huge, we had to take most of the entrees home, so the vaule there was amazing. I am extremely appreciative that Iralee, Treska and Myle's went above and beyond to ensure my wife had an exceptional dinning experience with her dietary restrictions.
