My sister gifted my husband and I a gift card for Xmas. She works for three kings in south county another establishment with the same owners. The food and atmosphere at Three Kings is so great that we were thrilled to see they’d opened a Mexican restaurant as we love tacos!
Just from walking up from the partying lot, I knew it would be great! The outside dining had lots of themed touches that were really nice! Soon as we walked in we were greeted and told of our wait time. we really appreciated that the hostess took our number and called us when our table was ready. We ended up sitting and waiting, we like to people watch :D the decor was gorgeous! I loved the succulent chandelier, the floral walls, the ceramic and the mosaic touches! All of their establishments are inviting and really create a nice atmosphere! Our server Charlie was friendly and knowledgeable regarding drinks and food! We each had a delicious margarita! The chips and salsa were fantastic! My husband ordered a smothered burrito and I opted for a taco plate. I was very impressed with the amount of options on the food especially for health conscious people- vegan, gluten free, etc! I loved that I could mix and match, I had a Baja fish taco and the vegan chorizo. Both were amazing! The slaw on the baja taco was sweet and crunchy! This was my first experience with vegan chorizo and it was the perfect amount of spicy! The plantains were delicious and basically became our dessert! We over indulged too much and skipped dessert, but we will be back soon so that we can order the Churros! Highly recommend checking out Tres Reyes and or Three Kings if you haven’t yet! You won’t be disappointed! :)
