Being someone with Celiac Disease I never dine out in fear of getting sick from gluten. I heard this restaurant does gluten free options. However, anyone who HAS to be gluten free knows that doesn't mean the kitchen is careful and you wind up being extremely sick due to cross contamination or lack of knowledge from servers.
When we sat down I had so many questions. EVERY employee from our host, to the guy who brought us chips and water, to our waitress was so nice and listened to my concerns as well as answered my questions. The guy who brought us the chips went to double check to make sure I was safe to eat them and assured me they are cooked separate from anything flour fried. Our waitress made sure to personally go back there and make sure the kitchen staff knew I had severe issues with gluten. I was told they use separate untesils, pans, containers for food prep, as well as switching out there gloves when they are notified of allergies or food issues.
Not only was I thoroughly pleased with the employees, but the food was AMAZING.
Definitely recommend and I'll definitely be going back! =)
Thank you Casa Gabriela for taking gluten free so seriously so I and anyone else in the same predicament can have delicious food and not get sick. I feel like i can speak for all of us with this issue, that it means so much to us!!
