Awful experience. We sat down and immediately got asked what we wanted to drink so we asked for some time. Took forever for him to come back and then we ordered drinks. Some lady came out to put bread out but we said we don’t do gluten so she took it back. Then the air con dripped water right in the middle of our table onto the menu so we moved to one of many empty tables. Another waiter tried to start our order but we told him we moved due to dripping and already ordered drinks. He acted nasty and rude for no reason. Then finally our drinks came. After that, forget trying to get anyone’s attention. We just got to the point of getting our check and leaving, at which point someone brought out packaged gluten free crackers no one asked for. They almost tried to charge us for those. Why do people queue up for this place with awful service?

Great tapa cafe. Lovely staff who were super efficient even when the place was packed. Very patient with us (neither of us have good Spanish, & one not perfect English). As a couple with allergies (inc being unable to have gluten) they were great and even have gf beer.

Maybe it was just the time of day or what, but the staff was sour faced and sometimes even angry. They didn't care one bit, just to be done with you. I have lactose and gluten allergies that are severe and told them multiple times, but they didn't write it down or anything, it didn't look like they were even listening. They gave me an allergy sheet which was in Spanish while the menu was in English, so I couldn't understand which is for what (Google translate wasn't perfect). So, I asked them personally for help, didn't get any, they just brought me the dish and walked away. Food was way over salted and luke warm at best. I left sad and hoped to not be in pain.
