MUST TRY! We had the pleasure of dining here last night and had the best dinner we’ve had in a while. To start, we have a newborn baby and three different people were at our table the moment we walked in to help accommodate her car seat and get us situated. The grilled octopus was PERFECT and definitely something we will be back for! My boyfriend is gluten intolerant and Griffin, one our servers, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable over what options they had and if he wasn’t sure, he would check with the chef and let us know immediately after. They even offer a gluten free pasta although we did not end up ordering one. I ordered the scallop risotto and my boyfriend ordered a filet so as you can imagine, a wine that pairs well with both is hard to find. However, Davis, the sommelier and manager, had the BEST recommendation with a Langhe Nebbiolo! It was heavy enough for the steak but not too over powering for the scallops. Our only complaint, service was quite slow in the beginning taking quite a while to get started with appetizers and drinks but that is to be expected from a restaurant that opened 4 days ago. Overall, one of our new favorites in town!!! Will be back to try Davis’s second wine recommendation!
