Casa Rio

This is a great place in which to dine. The food is good, and the prices are affordable. It gets busy, so perhaps look into coming with plenty of time to spare, or perhaps reservations. The tables at the river edge are nice and cool outside. The waitstaff is diligent, fun, and polite. You can also take your pic, and have a keepsake. The server helped us with gluten free options, and there is a separate GF menu. This place is kid friendly, too. We enjoyed our experience here.

My sister and brother-in-law were visiting from Melbourne Australia, and this seemed like the perfect place to take them for the real San Antonio tourist experience. Stop by after the Riverwalk no wait and sat right on the river. They were incredibly impressed with the food as were my two daughters and I the gluten-free menu is pretty small but very very specific. I truly enjoyed the meal that I had the pricing for Casa Rio is absolutely phenomenal especially for the location would love to dine here on an evening, but no, I would need to make a reservation. The only reason Casa Rios doesn’t get a full five stars was because a few of the items we ordered we were charged for, but never received gave them a call provided them the information they needed and they refunded without any hassle.
