Cassidys Hotel

Beautifully redecorated rooms since our last visit, fab showers and comfy beds. Had breakfast one morning during our stay which was lovely, even catered for gluten free - which makes a great change! Location-wise, this hotel is perfect. It is 5-10 mins walk from the popular tourist bars, but there are better bars much closer. Also has a nice hotel bar for a night cap. We have stayed here loads of times and will be back again!

The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Every staff member I encountered from the front desk, to the hallway to the cleaning staff, and the restaurant, they were all incredible. I stayed for one night. The only note I have is the carpeting in the hallways is quite thick , so it may be difficult for you to move a heavy suitcase also since the hallways are small. It is not very accessible. I stayed at the Parnell suite, which is not in the main building. The room is okay. You can tell it's a bit outdated and has a bit of an outdated smell. I couldn't get the AC to work well. The room is fine for one night, maybe two, but I wouldn't stay for longer. You have to use two elevators and walk to get to your room so it's no very accessible, especially if you have any accessibility issues. I would note this during the booking. I had the breakfast. It was a good continental breakfast. The bread and scrambled eggs tasted good. They have a good and humble selection for a small breakfast area. Everything tasted good. Alternative milks and gluten free options are available. And of course, the hotel is in a great location.
