We went for a meal here on Friday night to celebrate our sons 20th birthday. I’m Coeliac/gluten free so asked for those food options. Unfortunately it would seem that something has gone wrong as I was very ill after eating my meal. My wife emailed the restaurant to explain what had happened and was told that the manager would contact me personally but as of yet no contact. Please be very careful if you are Coeliac/gluten free if you are eating here. This whole episode spoilt our night and our trip away to Liverpool and I’m still ill 4 days later.
Further to this post, the Manager has contacted me and carried out a full investigation and has reassured me that steps have been taken to ensure this will not happen again. He also spoke to the Directors of the Company and has offered me a voucher to use in the future.
I’m happy that this action has been taken and that the Company will be more Coeliac-aware in the future. Mike
