Our second visit was just as good as the first time 2 years ago. The food and service were excellent again. Would be good if they had a gluten free BBQ sauce. First visit review We had an excellent meal. The food and service exceeded our expectations. The staff were knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu and there was a good selection of gluten free items. The entree dishes of oysters Kilpatrick and Hervey Bay scallops were delicious. The eye fillet was cooked just right and the Dianne sauce was a good compliment. The dessert menu had a great selection of gluten free options, the steamed banana pudding was delicious and moist. Can highly recommend.

This restaurant has not got strategies in place to get a good dining experience in place for people with allergies. ( I am dairy and gluten free). I was given a meal that would have been suitable for a prison. No (gluten free bun) to start .Plain salmon. Plain baked spud. And plain steamed vege. NO sauce available. No dressing. A tiny piece of lemon. I asked for two more pieces of lemon and doused everything with this. To get a bit of flavour going. Wake up Cavs! There are heaps of people out here with allergies. And we are often in a party. It is worth your while to cater for us!
