Cedar Oak Cafe & Restaurant By Brham

My group visited this restaurant twice on our trip. Once for brunch and once for dinner. It was a night and day experience. The brunch visit was absolutely amazing and accommodating. My friend is gluten free so they made the smoked salmon bagel for her but as an omelet to omit the bread. Everything we had at brunch was fantastic and the server Gracie was on point. The dinner experience we had was less than optimal. They ran out of filet and all seafood which cut their menu in half. We ordered entrees and pizzas to go for a midnight snack since St. Mary’s seems to roll the sidewalks up at 9pm. The entrees, while tasty, came out all at different times with sides missing and then we were informed they were out of pizza ingredients so we couldn’t order those. The waitress was amazing but clearly stressed by the kitchen/chef. It seems like that was a theme of the night because one other table inside with us seemed to wait forever for their entree and the chef kept telling the waitress “oh 5 more minutes” every time she asked. (The kitchen and dining room inside are very small and close to one another, we can hear you chef.) TLDR: go for brunch especially if Gracie is serving. Maybe go for dinner if you’re the only table being served.

Had lunch here today and can’t wait till next time we’re in Saint Mary’s to have dinner! Our party of 7 chose different menus options and we all were so happy with our delish & beautifully presented choices! We were lucky enough to have the owner come chat with us about his restaurant’s, new inspiration…..which seems to be keeping the traditional Cedar Oak Cafe menu side-by-side with a new globally inspired, delicious, health promoting menu. YUM! You can even find awesome gluten-free here if you need it. 😁 PS Try the ridiculously fluffy cheesecake with butterscotch and mango sauces.
