Awful service and products at this store. One of my purchases was a tiny loaf of very expensive gluten free bread, which I discovered when I got home was moldy and stale. The next day I took the bread back but the owner aggressively motioned me out as they didn't reopen from lunch for another 10 mins (the door was wide open?!). I tried to show him the mouldy bread and he just turned his back on me. The next day, I went back again. Was told by the girl working that she couldn't do anything unless the owner was there and to try again another time. I asked her to take the bread and leave a note for him. I went back 2 more times out of frustration by the terrible service, and the owner was never there. She could have at least given me a fresh loaf of bread!! I recommend avoiding this store, there's much better around! For a tourist town like Chamonix, I'm shocked at how rude the staff were. Edit: If the owner took the time to read my review properly- I first went in the following morning to try to get a fresh loaf or a refund! I hardly call that cowardly to leave a negative review when I attempted four times to see him for a replacement. Beyond rude!!! Oh, and yes- I took a slice off the end to see if it was moldy all the way through.

This is the BEST grocery store in town for organic, healthy foods. This is perfect for people looking for any gluten free options, fresh organic vegetables, vegan food. They have a variety of vegetables, coconut milk (without bad guar gum), almond milk, gluten free bread, gluten free muffins, gluten free pasta, gluten free flours. High quality products not sold at other stores in town, but available at Cham bio for example: organic olive oil, coconut milk in the can for baking, organic maple syrup for pancakes.
