Excellent lunch. We drove the Great River Road down to Venice and decided to stop at Changes Restaurant for lunch. The parking lot was full of locals which is always a good sign. Justine (owner) and her daughter were so friendly and helpful. I had the fried shrimp platter which was excellent. The breading on the shrimp was lightly coated and just right--not more breading than shrimp like you often get at other restaurants. My husband is gluten free and ordered his shrimp blackened which he said was also excellent. Justine and her daughter both took extra time with us and told us of the surrounding area and things to see. Patrons in the restaurant were friendly too! Definitely a family restaurant serving families.
