The music was lively but played at a reasonable volume level, giving the restaurant a cool vibe. The tables were all clean and everything looked very organized and the decorations fit the theme.
The food was delicious.
We ordered the pan de bono - delicious, chewy soft, cheese “bread” balls of heaven. They are actually made with tapioca flour (if I remember correctly), making them gluten free, yet quite enjoyable.
My bf has the Cubano sandwich, which I took a bite of. The bread was perfectly toasted and the cheese beautifully melted. Filled with delicious ham, the only thing we’d change is to add more mustard.
I ordered the lechon cubano - delicious pork with a crispy topping, served with a side of black beans, some sort of orange-colored spicy sauce, fried yucca patties, and rice.
Our server/bartender Hirving gave us impeccable service. He was very fun and pleasant, and even played an awesome Latin-remixed Backstreet Boys - “I want it that way.”
Overall a great time and great food. Definitely will come back in the future
