Chapter One Books

I visited this cafe on my way back to the bus stop (to get back to Birmingham as I was on a day trip) and I fell in love with the atmosphere the second I stepped through the door. The cafe has such a homely feel and the lightning is so natural that you feel at peace. I ordered a charcoal latte and the gluten-free avocado and courgette cake (both were delicious and I highly recommend them!). There is plenty of seating and each area of the cafe has its own character (which is fitting given that it also a bookshop!). Definitely worth checking out! <3

Popular study and work spot! Cosy space to spend hours of your day in. Different seating styles to choose from. A relaxing and de-stressed environment with dim lighting. Nicely decorated with books and cute flowers. Enjoy some coffee, tea, and cake to boost your productivity. Not the best place for a full meal, only snack portions. Can be busy during exam season. Central location. Great place to read and catch up with projects. Perfect for solo and couple dates. Dog-friendly. Excellent service. Friendly and welcoming staff, always smiling.
