Charnley's Home and Garden

We took my partner's mother for afternoon tea today, for her birthday. My partner had booked in advance and asked for my afternoon tea to be gluten free. There was a little wait when we arrived and then they couldn't find our table but after a short while we were sorted. Our cutlery and plates were brought to us and they took our order for drinks. Then our afternoon tea arrived. The presentation was lovely the food tasted lovely and overall the whole experience was lovely. Being a fairly new coeliac I was over the moon that I could eat like the others. All the staff were friendly and we had a lovely afternoon. Would definitely recommend.

Easily accessible. Big car park. Garden Centre is full of all you need. Garden, homeware, nic naks. And gifts. The restaurant is amazing. By far the best cakes around... the menu has a good variety from soups.to sandwiches to full meals. Breakfasts are well worth a visit. Can get busy but am not surprised. We have never been rushed to eat. Once seated enjoy. Que to be seated on arrival. Table ordering service. Staff work very hard and are friendly and helpful. Please hand them a smile and thankyou as it always makes them smile in their extremely busy day. All I can say is... if you have not been... go.. go now.. why are you still here.. go! Enjoy! Gluten free options available and wheelchair access is great.
