Chart House

Glen really took good care of us. My friend and I needed a gluten-free and dairy-free dinner and the chart house ended up have a new menu with options. Not very many options that are plant based, actually only 1 or 2 on the menu. The back patio was nice for us in late August after 7pm. My friend got the filet and I got a chopped salad.

Wanted to warn patrons communicating gluten allergy and receiving s gluten free menu and still receiving food made with gluten. Truly a disappointing experience when celebrating my daughters birthday. When we questioned the asparagus ordered on the gluten free menu to compliment our lobster the server went to the kitchen and confirmed made with bread crumbs. You would have thought the manager would come over to understand the allergic reaction but once again disappointingly no. When I asked for a manager one came over and to say I was underwhelmed how he handled the situation is a understatement. Did not ask if my daughter needed medical attention but wanted to let me know he was going to comp one lobster dinner. Honestly the most disappointing factor of the evening was the apparent lack of concern for patrons with food allergies. The manager and waitstaff completely missed the point that the lack of attention to allergies and apparent lack of concern for their patrons was the true disappointment.
