Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs

as a first timer, the menu was a little overwhelming. I ended up getting the mushroom magic with chicken added, I recommend getting the smallest size. depending on the type of sandwich you choose, the filling to bread ratio is overwhelming, I was left with basically a salad after the first half. they add a lot of topping options, gluten free bread options, and fountain drinks to choose from. they have a bar that's both indoor and outdoor, with a M-F 2-6pm happy hour. the service was fast and incredible, and the decor around the inside varies and is pleasant to get distracted by as a good conversation piece

Staff was friendly, and it’s a cool place but they don’t seem to be knowledgeable over gluten free situations. On other reviews , it was said that they have gluten free options, but they really do not have gluten free options.. just salads, and the staff was unsure of ingredients that makes their "shake“ so there could be gluten in that or the sauces. if you have celiacs or a high gluten intolerance, it’s probably best to skip this establishment. It’s unfortunate, a lot of cool places like this are usually a bit more informed or have protocol for gluten free/celiacs. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a cross contamination issue between gluten free and the regular foods.
