First and foremost I am very hard to please as a diner. As a chef and a business owner, I demand quality at a reasonable price.
Truth be told I avoided this place since it opened because of reviews and things I've heard about pricing and quaility. Let me lay that to rest.
Last night was my first time there. I ordered like a true American gluten. Started with an appetizer of coconut shrimp and Wisconsin cheese bites. Both of which were a far larger serving than I expected for the price. They were apsolutely delicious!
For my main course I ordered the steak and ribs combo, opp'd into the 8 oz upgrade, with sides of cheddar broccoli casserole and a loaded baked potato add bacon.
The servings were so proper and generous, the presentation so appealing, the flavors so rich and filling, that yes- I had to start a new paragraph just to discribe my plate.
For the $82 I spent on 2 people dining, both of us getting pretty much the same meal, with shared appetizers and 2 of the amazing house mixed drinks with a generous 20% tip. I couldn't be happier with my experience.
I can 100% say I support this establishment and will be returning with family, friends and business meals.
