Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

Upon entering the restaurant, there was a strong odor. Not sure what it was. We were seated right away, but waited a good 15-20 minutes for the waitress to take our drink order. Since it was such a long wait, we were ready to order. My husband has to eat gluten free. Cheddar’s has a separate gluten free menu, but our waitress was not trained ahead of time for her to answer any questions about it. We placed our order and waited almost 45 minutes for our food. And they were not busy. The waitress also did not come back until she brought our food out. The food was delicious. We were very happy with it, but not the smell when we walked in, the wait to take our order and the long wait for the food. So 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the food and 2 ⭐️⭐️for everything else. Sorry!

We went for lunch around 11:15 so it wasn't busy yet. Our server, Kimberly, was very good. I ordered the Dijon chicken bc it's gluten-free. Our food was served hot and everything was good. We chose Cheddars bc it has a variety of entries that are sure to appeal to our group and we weren't disappointed.
