Chef's Catering

My now husband and I used Chef's Catering Food Truck for our wedding last weekend and it was a HUGE hit with our guests! Everyone loved the food truck experience and several friends and family members told us it was the best wedding food they've ever tasted! The corn-fritter and black bean sliders were so insanely delicious and local guests loved having a garbage plate option. The menu was super affordable compared to most wedding catering we looked at. And when prices for everything wedding related went up due to Covid and Inflation, Chef's honored our original quote. Jillian was so responsive and helpful during the 2 year long wedding planning process. It was really important to me as a bride with a severe nut allergy that all the food was nut free. Jillian was great about working with me to not just accommodate my food restrictions, but make sure no guest went hungry. Not only were there gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options but there was a list of ingredients for each menu item so if guests could order confidently and make a substitution if they needed to. If there were any slight hiccups, it took the truck a little longer to serve everyone than we had originally planned. But nobody seemed to mind once they got their food because it was so good! So if you're worried about sticking to a tight timeline maybe get a second food truck. Only other thing was the truck did take out some string lights when it drove away, but that just made for a memorable wedding story. Especially when several of our friends climbed the trees to fix the lights haha. So in short if you want a more casual, but delicious, menu guests will talk about go with Chef's. If you're planning a wedding on a budget but still want a great menu, go with Chef's Food Truck. If you or your guests have dietary restrictions, you couldn't pick a more conscientious caterer. But if you want the food truck experience but have a guests list of 100+ people, maybe have a longer dinner service or get two trucks. And just make sure any string lights or hanging decor are high enough or are out of the truck's path!

Jillian and Michael were awesome to work with from the first email inquiring about services to scheduling, setting the menu and delivery with set up! Jillian responsed very quickly by email and when I would call-great customer service! I Originally inquired about the food truck options because of COVID-19, but they were all reserved so we opted for catering. I had several options to choose from for the menu and the way it could be offered for guests. The silverware, napkins and plates were included, as well as the serving utensils!! Took one more thing off my plate for our special event. My family has several food allergies (gluten and dairy to name a few) and Jillian accommodated switching things out. 2 days before our event I called her to see if she could let me know which food would be safe due to another allergy-she was right on top of it!! And everyone had multiple, delicious things to eat. Everyone raved about how delicious the food was! And we had plenty!!! One friend is considering using for their wedding. Three days after people are still saying how yummy the food was!! Thank you Jillian, Michael and your team!!! I will definitely use your services for my next event!!!
