Chef's Palette Strathfield

A wide range of options, including gluten-free (not many GF Options at nearby cafes) and vegetarian. Produce was fresh and tasty, and serving sizes are ample. My friend had the eggs benedict and rated it highly. Salad was super fresh. Purchased some cake to bring home to share with familly and OMG they were sublime and they were GF. Champagne and watermelon and the chocolate 😋 Then there's the staff - very friendly, helpful and provide great service.

I saw other reviews mentioning gluten free options so was excited to visit this place, however staff had no knowledge around coeliac disease and minimal knowledge around gluten as an allergen. I was advised the only gluten free option on the menu was the plain gluten free toast with spreads - none of the other options could be made gluten free (even the omelette). However, staff also advised they couldn’t take any measures to reduce cross contamination when toasting the gluten free bread. Their display cakes were unexpectedly gluten free, however it seemed likely there was cross contamination. Wouldn’t recommend this place for someone with coeliac disease.

A good spot for a quick coffee, though it’s on the pricier side. I enjoyed a smooth flat white and a gluten-free matcha cheesecake, both of which were satisfying. The cozy atmosphere makes it a nice place to relax for a while.
