Friendly service, super tasty food, so many gluten free options. The lettuce wraps deeeeelighted my mouth and the samusa soup landed in an incredibly warm, cozy, comforting way - despite me being in a bustling, lively restaurant on the corner of 16th and K. 4 stars for atmosphere because I am old and once the restaurant got busy, I could no longer hear my companion.

Chef Burma brings a much needed entry to Sacramento's culinary tapestry. With so much ethnic food at our fingertips, I am surprised that Burmese food has taken so long to show up. If you have never had Burmese food, and you enjoy Thai and Indian, there is a lot you will love about the cuisine. Give Chef Burma a try. Chef Burma delivers. The food is fresh, bold, and has a lot of options for many dietary restrictions such as vegan and gluten free. How I break down my reviews: 1 Star - Never again. 2 Stars - Probably not, but maybe. 3 Stars - Would try again. Not sure I would recommend. 4 Stars - Very good, look forward to returning. 5 Stars - Amazing, top in its category. Om nom nom!
