This pub is situated in Upper Longden, not far from Lichfield, but is well worth the extra few miles to it seek out. Nestled in the centre of a lovely village, it has the character and charm of a by gone age. There is a car park with disabled spaces. As you step in, you are greeted by qwerty features, beams and a well presented pub. It is clean, tidy and well decorated, with added pumpkin touches. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were shown to a table in a lovely area, not large, but in keeping with the size of the building. The menu was new total, but that did not hinder the service. There was a wonderful selection of dishes that would cater to any tastes or requirements. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options were also available. Service was good, food well presented and tasted delicious. This is an excellent pub and I would definitely recommend you visit. Booking is probably recommended, especially in the evening. I can't wait to return.
