Chez Ma Tante

First time visiting Chez Ma Tante and we loved every bit of it. From appetizer, to the drinks, to dinner and dessert, each was delicious. In fact, when leaving someone commented it may have been the best meal they have ever had, and everyone agreed. Make sure to get the pate and the mule (best cocktail I've ever tasted!). Finally, the chocolate cake is gluten free, and is absolute heaven. The service was perfect. Attentive, friendly, and knew the menu line it was her favorite thing to talk about. A bit over-hyped IMO. My eggs over greens were perfectly poached and the potatoes were yummy. There were just other little things that made the overall experience subpar. I couldn't order an extra egg which is odd at a brunch place, right? When I asked for gluten free toast they were kinda snotty and said "we don't do that". My friend's pancakes were drenched in syrup so they were way too sweet for her to finish - I'd just let people add their own syrup. Also our waitress never came back once after taking our order so we couldn't really talk to her about the food.
