Chiardicrema

This may be stating the obvious, but Chiardicrema is THE place to go for locally made gelato in the very special city of Montecarlo. OK, granted, it truly is the ONLY place, but that doesn’t mean it is not special in its own way. The gelato is great, maybe not the cheapest you will find in Italy, but they use fresh organic ingredients, with vegetarian and gluten-intolerant choices, and the ambiance of Montecarlo is terrific. You can enjoy the sunshine while eating outside at the many tables while you people watch, or if it is rainy or cold, eat inside in the little dining room—all while enjoying free wi-fi. They offer many other perks besides good gelato: crepes, waffles, pancakes, sorbetti, coffee, hot chocolate, donuts, babà al rum, tiramisù and other desserts. There’s even if water dish for your doggie.

Very kind and helpful sales assistant, phenomenal ice creams and milkshakes. Low costs and much more inside. Fresh drinks. Internal (reduced) and external tables. Highly recommended in cool Monte Carlo. Also gluten-free products.
