Absolutely polished gem in the somewhat boring strip mall in Welches. Decor, seating, menus, are all incredibly well thought out. The patio out back was very very nice even on a warmer day. Service was remarkably good and attentive, there's a "brand" of service we experienced that made us feel right at home and well cared for. Our server knew about gluten allergy and steered us properly. According to the server, everything save for the tortillas is made in-house. I believe it after having everything. The salsa sampler was interesting, but the bbq salsa was more like bbq sauce and clashed with everything else IMO. I enjoyed the 2 "hottest" salsas, they were both manageable in spice level. The horchata was very good and neverending due to the awesome service! The food came, and each portion was big enough to feed 2-4 people, let alone 1. The food was good! At the end, the check came out. Frankly we both raised an eyebrow wondering if the server forgot to charge us for something. The prices were incredibly reasonable. Thanks for having us, we'll definitely be back.

Lovely food--"standard" options with Actual flavor! Not a "standard" taste. And some unique items that you don't usually see in a small strip mall spot. They actually do Flavor, just repeating that! We had an option for the happy hour menu, but chose the dinner menu,--good happy hour options though. Heads up, the iced tea is a little floral (my guess is jasmine, but I liked it) & you have to request chips/salsa, BUT they come with 3 unique salsas (salsa flight--you can sub) & fresh hot chips. Maybe I'm easy to please? :) I loved the vegetarian & gluten free options. I'm a diagnosed celiac and have no problems. Everyone is unique, but I had no issues. Ask about options & confirm sauces are gf also. Very good servers who knew the menu well--just ask. Busy on the weekends. Margaritas looked great, but I'm not much of a drinker. My partner enjoyed their drinks though.
