To whom it May Concern, I eat at this establishment often. I came through the drive through today and ordered with an 8 ct grilled nugget meal. Upon retrieving my order at the window, I was incorrectly given the fried nuggets. I informed the workers at the window that I had ordered grilled nuggets instead of fried in hopes to that my order would be remedied. However, I was met with hostility. The worker who took my order back informed me that it would be an additional .86. .86 is not an issue to pay, however I had already swiped my card for a meal. He responded, “Well if you don’t pay it comes out my check, and everyone else’s check and Bryan who took your order would not be affected. I told him this isn’t an error on my end and I wouldn’t swipe my card for .86 and I didn’t not have any cash on me. He then called, Yossy a manager. I explained to Yossy, I ordered with Bryan. I am Gluten free and have celiac disease. Therefore, I cannot order any fried nuggets. This is not an error on my end. He insisted I either swipe my card or get a refund. As I am waiting in the drive thru, just replaying this event. I had never experienced this type of behavior at the location before. Yossy also stated to me, “this isn’t me who makes the rules it’s corporate you can either swipe now, it’s ready or get a refund.” While thinking about my decision, he immediately just offered a refund in cash to me. This experience truly baffled me and I am still shocked at the way this situation was handled. I understand errors and mistakes happen but don’t make it the customers’ error and/or problem, when it is an error on the staff. There has to be some type of graceful solution instead of hostility.
