Chick-fil-A

Great place to get gluten-free fries! They have GF buns in separate packaging. The kale salad is also a great option. When I order gluten-free they often withhold the delightfully gluten-free, crunchy almonds. I think someone presses an "allergy" button on my order? Sadly, this is the 2nd time I've been to a Chick-fil-A when I specifically asked for a grilled chicken w/a GF bun & mentioned Celiac disease that I got a grilled chicken on a regular bun. I get a kick out of it when I am recoiling in horror at the prospect of consuming gluten (even pulling my hands back into the safety of my car) and the apologetic food runner cheerily suggests I can keep the incorrect order if I'd like. :) This store DID MAKE IT UP TO ME! I had to wait about 15 minutes for a fresh, GF sandwich and they gave me a card for a free item next time. I'd have given them 5 stars for service, but the guy who took my order didn't know what gluten-free or Celiac meant, didn't ask me to clarify, and just rang up a grilled chicken. He even read my order back correctly, just didn't enter it right.
