We haven't eaten much fast food in years. Due to finding out our entire family is gluten intolerant. I recently discovered chick-fil-a has GF buns that are provided in a sealed plastic bag. And that the fries have their own dedicated fryers, so they aren't cross contaminated with fried food. I don't know if there were new people being trained, but the 2 girls at the counter seemed to have some trouble with orders. It was around 8 pm on a Friday night, and a lady had ordered, then it was my turn, then a group of 4 people behind me and another 2 behind them. For some reason they only had one register open. Whatever, not a big deal to me, we ordered and sat down to wait. We were brought the wrong food at first, it was someone else's order. That was corrected and we had our food shortly after. I was disappointed that the GF bread was in a baggy. And in no way warmed up. The bread itself was quite dry. We used sauce go help with that. In retrospect, the fries could have used a little more salt. But we were just so happy to be enjoying a meal out. Now the only thing really negative we saw. Was as it was approaching 9 pm, which is closing time, I told my girls to hurry up, that it sounded like they were getting ready to shut down for the night. 2 small groups of people walked in right after I said that, and the (assumed) manager, while looking towards the patrons, rolled her eyes and you could see a physical annoyance. I get being tired and wanting to go home, but especially at a chick-fil-a. Do you think Jesus rolled is eyes, at all the people who kept coming?
