Chipotle Mexican Grill

Went here yesterday for a gluten-free burrito bowl. Since I'm allergic to wheat and gluten I asked the server if she could wash her hands and change her gloves. Instead of helping us she went to the back and went on a water break. The other server with blonde hair kept saying she was washing her hands but We seen her chatting and having a water break as the line grew closer to the door. Chipotle you have a great gluten-free protocol. Please educate your employees on how to use it!!!

UPDATE: That 13-year-old is now 20! And in the ensuing years, another one of my children was diagnosed with CD, and she loves Chipotle with her whole heart! It's especially reassuring to be able to travel and know we'll likely find a Chipotle on our route, because Chick-fil-a three times a day IS bit excessive! Haha My 13-year-old has Celiac Disease, and he never has to worry about cross-contamination when he eats here. The staff has clearly been trained in proper protocol because all my son has to do is say the word "celiac" and the server will stop, wash his hands thoroughly and change his gloves. The workers are always sure to relay down the line whether or not the others need to follow the same protocol or if the initial server is going to handle the whole meal. This mom appreciates the respect and care they show while preparing my son's meal, and it's always delicious to boot!
