Chocolate Factory Gosford

Before taking my son to do the Create-a-Bar I reached out to check if the chocolate and toppings are gluten free. I was told they were. I also checked with the staff member at the counter on the day and again I was told they were. Not long after my son ate the bar he started to experience side effects. I again reached out to the Chocolate Factory just to double check the brand of toppings and if they used Malt Barley extract, as I didn't want to assume it was the chocolate alone, but this time got no response. Which is disappointing as he was enjoying the chocolate but I have to throw it just encase.

Very well appointed tourist attraction. Factory, gift shop and cafe. Lots of room to sit and enjoy coffee, food or ice-cream and of course chocolate. It would have been nice to be offered samples. It's hard to choose to buy bags and boxes of gourmet chocolate without knowing for sure that you like it. The coffee was great. We didn't have time to do a tour or make our own chocolate bar (allow at least an hour here to do these things). Most appreciated was the many gluten free options which are all easily identified by labels and the menu.
