Chopping Block Steakhouse

We went here on a wing and a prayer that they would have some gluten free options and we were pleasantly surprised. While they don't have a gluten free menu and they won't guarantee no cross contamination they have quite a few options that are inherently gluten free. Our waiter Kyle was knowledgeable about cross contamination and wasn't afraid to go ask if he didn't know the answer. We were the first guests there that day so the grill was clean so ordering a burger without a bun was less of a risk we felt and my sensitive daughter didn't get sick. I had the Santa Fe chicken it was nothing special but didn't make me sick either.

First time in Mena and wanted a good steak and a drink, asked to speak to the bartender to see if he could make a drink for me and he or she refused to come speak to me, said he didn’t know how to charge but he never spoke to me to know what I was asking for. Very bad customer service. So we drank water. Food was good. I have a gluten allergy and the waiter had no clue what I was talking about, they need to train their waitstaff better.
