Churchill St. Restaurant

Being Celiac I really wanted to love this place. This was my second visit and I won't be back. I had the chicken sandwich, which I was looking forward to, but it was so greasy I couldn't even eat it. I wished I had a paper napkin to blot it off, but there was only linen. My mom had the patty melt, and she said it was extremely greasy as well. The fries were good. The best thing that it has going for it is a very pleasant ambiance. There is a semi enclosed patio which is very nice. They have a decent wine list.

Had a gluten free chicken sandwich with fries. It was so good!!! Great atmosphere and staff were very friendly. I highly recommend it.

This is not a typical restaurant, yet a great place to meet with family and friends. Once you are seated, you go up to the front and order off the counter menu, as well as pick up water and drinks for yourself. Your meal is then brought to you at your table or booth. They have a great menu which you can check out online. I had the beet salad—it was not only delicious but very filling. I was pleased to see there were many gluten-free meals across the menu. Acoustically the place is a tad noisy due to all the hard surfaces in the restaurant. We found the main dining room temperature to be too cool even though it was a warm, pleasant day. We were freezing by the time we finished our meals. They do have a covered outside patio for dining. Parking is plentiful, with handicapped parking close to the front entrance.
