Amazing spot for a fresh fish meal near the beach on Avola! We got to go next door and pick out the exact fish that we wanted to eat which they then prepared perfectly! They are very gluten free friendly and even had gluten free bread which they brought me with my meal! The staff were very kind and had great suggestions if you need help deciding on what to order. Simple cooking that made the ingredients the stars of the show and was a great first meal in Sicily!

The restaurant has modern furnishings, attached to the fish market open during the day, and serves a good menu of fish from fresh to cooked. We booked in advance and then sat inside. The atmosphere is pleasant and quiet even though it was full. The staff are very kind, I explained to them that I needed gluten-free dishes and I had a good explanation of the menu. We came here with the intention of eating good fish and especially the octopus that I had noticed in the reviews. We were thrilled with the appetizer consisting of raw Sicilian prawns (red), followed by pasta alla norma for my husband and crunchy octopus for me accompanied by a nero d'Avola rosé. The octopus was delicious, cooked just right and with a very full flavour, I would have eaten two! The count was 59 for two. High quality, fair price and punctual and exhaustive service.
